Pastor Phillip L. Moore was born and raised in Joliet, Illinois. The fourth of nine children of Deacon Luther and Onie Moore. After graduating from High School, Pastor Moore joined the Will County Carpenters Union Local 174 in Joliet, Illinois, to begin a career as a second-generation carpenter. He later enlisted in the United States Air Force and served honorably. While experiencing very dark times in his life, in 2004, Pastor Moore was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost, at Redeem Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Pastor Eugene Fears, Jr. Pastor Moore served faithfully on the Usher board, and deacon board, and vice president of the Men’s Dept. In 2006, He was called into the ministry. On February 17, 2008, his birthday, he preached his first sermon was titled, “When God Calls you, will you go to Nineveh, or Tarshish.” In 2009, Pastor Moore moved his membership to Holy Temple Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of his uncle, Pastor Clyde Moore. His uncle didn’t waste any time putting him to work.
Pastor Moore was ordained August 13, 2013.
Pastor Moore relocated to Wichita, Kansas in 2014. He served faithfully under the leadership of Supt. Jonathan Platt at Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, as Assistant Pastor.
After much prayer and fasting, Pastor Moore founded Eden Fellowship Ministries, Church of God in Christ in 2016. He currently serves as Jurisdictional Secretary and Chief Adjutant for Kansas Central Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, under the leadership of Bishop Dr. Milton P. Jackson, Jr.
He is Married to Evangelist Carmen Moore, and they are the parents of nine adult children, and grandparents of seven. Pastor Phillip Moore endeavors to spread the gospel worldwide.
Evangelist Carmen Moore was raised in Wichita and is the daughter of Carolyn Phillips and Lee Laws and granddaughter of the late Lonie and Frances Fleming. She attended Tabernacle Church of God in Christ until she moved away at the age of 21. She taught Sunday School while a teenager which to this day is a passion of hers.
Throughout her adult life she has attended Ephesians Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Superintendent Joseph Gilkey Jr. and due to a job opportunity moved to Topeka where she attended Abundance of Life Cathedral of Praise under the leadership of now Bishop Milton P. Jackson Jr.
She later relocated to Illinois where she met and married Pastor Phillip Moore.
She has held several positions in the church, Sunday School Teacher, Church Administrator, Jurisdictional Treasurer for Pastors and Minister’s Wives, Department Administrator for the Jurisdiction and a host of other positions. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Friends University in Management and Leadership. She also holds certifications and licenses as an Evangelist in the Church of God in Christ, Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), mandated court reporter, Youth and Adult Mental Health First Aid Responder, Christian life coach and Fostering Futures.
She is currently the first lady of Eden Fellowship Ministries and works along side her husband Pastor Phillip Moore to the ministry. She has a lovely blended family of 9 children and 7 grandchildren.
